We are a national provider of human resource consulting services and are seeking a full-time HR Consultant to join our growing team. This is a 100% work-from-home flex schedule position, but candidate must be physically located in NV. Applications from other states will not be reviewed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assisting our clients and collaborating with our team in providing human resources consulting services via phone and email. The ideal HR Consultant will possess a good working knowledge of multi-state human resources and compliance. They will have hands-on experience in dealing with actual HR issues in the capacity of an HR Business Partner or HR Consultant. They will be strategic thinkers and problem-solvers with excellent communication skills. The goal is to help our nationwide roster of client-businesses of all sizes, industries and locations.
This includes:
- Respond to questions on a wide variety of interesting HR subjects received from clients and collaborating with our in-house team of HR Consultants. Conducting research on all types of human resources subjects and providing prompt, accurate guidance.
- Review and update employee handbooks, HR policies and HR related documents.
- Ensuring responses comply with established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations.
- Assist the team in updating our HR forms library, including adding new and modifying existing content as directed.
- Other HR-related projects as directed.
JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the following minimum skills and experience:
- At least 3 years hands on HR experience with knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices. Multi-state experience preferred
- At least 1 year of experience as HR Business Partner or HR Consultant
- Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal
- Computer Savvy with very strong knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Strong organization and solid research skills, along with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to explain ideas and concepts in a simplified manner
- A team player
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace
- User provided home high-speed network connection
SUPERVISION & TRAINING
HR Consultant will report to and be under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Consulting.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time nonexempt position for 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday to Friday.
Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
