Important Dates and Deadlines for this Month
June 24
- The 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection opened on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The deadline to file the 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 report is Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Under current federal regulations, private employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees and that meet certain criteria are required to report annually the number of individuals they employ by job category and by sex and race or ethnicity.
- This year, there will be a shorter collection period during which filers may submit their 2024 reports. The collection period will not extend beyond the Tuesday, June 24, 2025 “Published Due Date” deadline. Additionally, per the EEOC, beginning with the 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection, all communications sent to filers will be electronic. No notifications about the 2024 collection will be sent to filers via postal mail. To meet this deadline, the EEOC strongly encourages eligible filers to begin the filing process as soon as possible.
- Filers should visit the dedicated EEO-1 Component 1 website at www.eeocdata.org/eeo1 to access the EEO-1 Component 1 Online Filing System (OFS), to find supplementary resource materials such as the 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 Instruction Booklet and 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 Data File Upload Specifications, and to get the latest updates. Filers needing additional assistance can access the Filer Support Team Message Center upon logging into the OFS.
