Guardian HR is a growing human resources and employment law consulting firm looking for an experienced Sales Representative/Account Executive. This is a work from home position, but candidates must be physically located in the PST, MST or CST time zone. Candidates in the Eastern Time Zone will not be considered! The Sales Representative/Account Executive is responsible for making sales, execute sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent the Company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our services meet the needs of customers
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics. This includes making 100 outbound calls per day (warm leads and existing customers) between 9 AM and 5 PM PST.
  • Identify and generate sales leads and build relationships, to present information and explain available services
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with customers, affiliates and others, and maintaining them over time

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry (human resources, payroll, law, insurance, benefits)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A team player that displays integrity and initiative
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace
  • User provided home high-speed network connection
  • Knowledge of the following software:
    • Calendar and scheduling: Microsoft Outlook & Calendly
    • Customer relationship management CRM: Keap (formerly Infusionsoft)
    • Office suite: Microsoft Office
    • Project management: Asana

SUPERVISION & TRAINING

This role will be under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Sales.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a full-time, nonexempt, remote/work-from-home position for 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are flexible but must be between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST Monday to Friday. Occasional evening/weekend work and 2-3 business trips per year may be required as job duties demand.

Salary grade: $60-70k base (DOE) + commission
